Since a few weeks I am working on a mix with music from the 80's. That's a different kind of mixing. Beats aren't created by a computer; mostly studiowork, live played and mastered. It meens a lot of editting, but it sure makes mixing more fun and satisfaction when it's ready.

I've taking a lot of tracks of the band ABC. Especially known with "How to be a millionair", "Look of love" and "Jealous lover". However they've done more and that's what I'm trying to combine into a 30 minutes mix.

Until now there is a mix of 20 minutes and I think it sounds great. Sometimes easy to mix because the tracks are tuned the same and have the same genre, but some are very difficult. Going from pop to ballads ain't easy. I need to soften the power of the pop to the feeling of ballads. Did I do it right? Wait until it's finished and hear for yourself.
